Discovery of electronic documents, done proportionately.

Litigation and arbitration now turn on email, chat and documents measured in gigabytes. We collect defensibly, cut the volume honestly, and deliver review-ready productions aligned to the issues, not to the meter.

From custodians to production

The work begins with a map: which custodians, which sources, which date ranges actually bear on the issues. Collection is forensic, so provenance is never in doubt. Processing then removes duplicates and system noise, applies agreed filters, and surfaces the population that needs human eyes. The output is a searchable, review-ready set with a documented chain from source to production, capable of supporting an affidavit on how discovery was conducted.

Proportionality is a discipline, not a slogan. Costs in discovery are lost through over-collection and unfocused review; both are avoidable with a properly scoped plan agreed with counsel at the outset.

Where we help counsel

  • Preservation and collection across laptops, mailboxes, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and file shares.
  • Early data assessment: how big is this really, and what will it cost to review.
  • Processing, de-duplication, threading and search-term refinement.
  • Production in the format the tribunal or opposing party requires.

Frequently asked

What makes an eDiscovery collection defensible?
Forensic method: documented scope and authority, verified acquisition with hashes, a chain of custody from source to production, and processing decisions that are recorded and repeatable. Defensibility means another expert could test every step.
Can you reduce the volume before expensive review?
Yes. De-duplication, date and custodian filters, system-file removal and search-term testing routinely cut review populations dramatically, and every reduction step is documented so nothing is quietly lost.
